The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
